With so much content in the world, it is growing increasingly difficult to guard the hearts of our children, especially when it comes to media. As a mom and former teacher, I know that reading is crucial to development; however, it is difficult to know what content is floating around in a novel. I wanted to create Guarded Hearts Book Guides in order to assist parents by creating parent guides for popular children and teen novels so that they are fully aware of the content of the books their children are reading.​

My goal is not to sway you or your child from reading, or even from reading particular content, but to give parents full awareness of content. My hope is that by providing this tool, parents are able have meaningful conversations with their children about the content of their novels.
